Maison Vaelis began in 1987 as a single bench above a clockmaker’s shop. Our founder, Odile Marchetti, had one rule: nobody sets a stone they would not wear themselves. Thirty-nine years later the rule still hangs above the door, and the bench has grown to eleven.
Every piece passes through the same four pairs of hands. A designer who draws it, a caster who pours it, a setter who holds the diamond, and a finisher who decides when it is done. Nothing leaves until all four agree.
